Positive Comments: I am impressed with the novelty of this song. The guitar (particularly at the beginning) seemed to put a pop/contempory tone to the jazz. The rhythm of the guitar carried that throughout the song. The topic of the song is catchy. It matches the mood of the instrument. The tone and quality of the voice is very strong. It fits with the genre and the other instruments.

Constructive Comments: The guitar is great, but much stronger than the bass and the drums were a bit low for my taste. Note, that is my taste. I melody of the vocal line seemed to be a bit unpredictable at time. That’s more accepted in jazz, but refining some of the rhythm of the words would help make it more pleasing to listeners. I would love to hear this again with a little faster tempo perhaps 4-6 BPM. While I realize that the mood is greatly affected by the tempo, it seemed the singer was working to slow herself to the music. Just a thought there.I believe this would work well with film/TV in drama scenes that would match the topic of the song.
