Positive Comments: Good organic song with lots of minor chords. Nicely crafted guitar interludes between the verses, with a healthy dose of folksy, authentic lyrics. This kind of reminds me of Charlie Daniels type of song. Good production and unpolluted, no electronic or synthetic instruments. The use of a plain acoustic guitar and singing worked well to give the song plenty of homespun flavor. Great job.
Constructive Comments: The acoustics and sound were great, which in my mind, is always what makes a song most pleasing to listen to. In other words some songs just sound good and are pleasing to the ear, while others do not. This song is definitely pleasing to listen to. I was not sure if the lyrics told a complete story. I was not too sure what the story is. I would have liked it maybe moving through time telling more of a linear story. How he came to be this way? Was he always on the dark side or were there some experiences that made him that way? I am curious to the story behind the song. I’m gonna read about it once I see the artist and the song.
