Positive Comments: I liked the dynamics and the arrangement, and the lead vocal was well done and in tune. Solid playing on the backing instruments as well. Would probably have liked less fuzz-tone on the backing guitar, but that’s just my personal preference. A nice song for sure.

Constructive Comments: The lyrics weren’t my cup of tea, sometimes rhyming to rhyme and I never could tell what the song title was. When the vocals soared it was on the word floating, so I put that as a guess. For commercial release the hook has to be a whopper. Had the lyrics and hook been tighter I’d have scored this higher as I liked it a lot.

Positive Comments: Very nice easy listening feel and lyrics.Lovely guitars, lead vocal spot on and self harmonies.It sounds a little bit country to me, early Eagles.The lyrical hook another day younger is a good idea too.

Constructive Comments: The guitars are really great but would benefit from a bit more volume leveling I think.I like a good mix so for me there could be some other instruments just sprinkled in emphasizing some parts.I couldn’t get it to play again for some reason but it seemed to come in a bit messily.Did I hear a Gretsch, not sure but nice mix of guitars just not mixed perfectly.I’d also say not too many of the lyrics stick in mind but another day younger is a great line.

Constructive Comments: The actual “hook” is pretty weak, as I couldn’t easily identify a title or that thing that everyone sings along with. Still, really excellent song.

Positive Comments: You must have heard this a million times before but you sound a lot like Smokey Robinson!

Constructive Comments: I review through headphones – as such I feel your vocals are a little lost in the mix – want to hear them higher in the mix. Vocal harmonies would also be great for the chorus. Needs to tighten up musically – I cheat using a synth where everything is quantised and tight.

Positive Comments: Good live band tracks, I love that! No midi here!! Band sounds tight, has a unique but welcoming sound. I hear a lot of 90s influences. I love the vocal concept and how the musical arrangement accompanies the vocal well… the little stops and hits are all very cool. Bridge… pretty much great… love the old school tambourine, there’s a dude in there tracking that… Thank you!! Nice groove tracks, the band is jamming at 2:30!

Constructive Comments: Mixing this is not an easy job. Great job. I can feel the vocals are on the brink of distorting but you’re good. I still hear the band well, guitars are not too loud… Background vox are in a good place. really great job on making the some dynamic and in your face but you didn’t ‘lose it’ as a much less experienced, less skilled musician might do… I’ve reviewed many songs similar in fashion to this where the mix wasn’t so good… at all. The quality of some of the recorded tracks was not a 5 but I feel the love in the performances… make some money, invest in really nice mics and mic. pres. Best to you… this some fine music brothers!

Positive Comments: Keyboard intro too me back. Innovative ideas with the ‘vocorder’ instrument or effect. Some nice musical lines throughout. Elements of a lot of the 80s bands that I loved and appreciated back then. Nice change up around 1:50, total groove change with a big orchestral section. Good imagination and instrumentation there.

Constructive Comments: Song is somewhat repetitive and very quantized and midi sounding. I understand that this is the electonica and dance club sound. With music like this I perfect instruments that are more expressive, with dynamic and velocity variations.

Positive Comments: This song captures authentically, the sound of British punk and disco influenced band of the 70s and 80s. I love the line “I’m a Wanna Be”!!! This song takes me back to a time of innovation and exploration in music. Great job in writing an interesting piece of music and fun lyrics.

Constructive Comments: A cute idea and I am totally with you about the terrible videos on MTV, how fun is this song??!! You keep doing exactly what you are doing, just throw your ideas on ‘tape’. The mix is bassy, some of the lines are too loud and others too low, there’s distortion so that’s why the low score on recording.
