Positive Comments: I like the fuzz guitar in the chorus.

Constructive Comments: This sounds like an early effort at recording. Some of the instrumental parts are out of sync. It drags a little too much for my taste. It might be worth rerecording, maybe with an experienced producer.

Positive Comments: Right on the money. It swings! Great playing on all the instruments. Great mix and production. the arrangement is tight. Sweet soloing–no weak links at all. Of course the vocal is sweet and smooth as silk! This is the shit! It hits the spot for me! Great work!

Constructive Comments: Love it just the way it is.

Constructive Comments: If you want to commercialize this some more, I’d throw some more passion into the vocal. We already have a Whispering Bill Anderson, we need someone new.

Song: Tha Bishop feat. Zim Digital – Nobody

Reviewer: Randall Mark

Positive Comments: Very nice, funky but relaxed mix. I really liked when the beat would stop, pause for a few seconds, and then pick up again even stronger, all while the vocals continued the regular rhythm, independently. I also liked the chiming sort of instrument, not sure what it was, synthesizer or keyboard. It gave the song a softer, gentler feel to it, which I thought was very effective in shaping the mood of the song

Constructive Comments: I am not familiar with song writing for hip hop. The lyrics seemed to go together with the style of the song. Maybe some vocal harmonies in some parts of the song with a female voice or a male voice that is distinguished from the main vocalist would have added some further glamour to the song. Maybe- I’m not saying it is necessarily needed

Song: TRAIN ON THE TRACK

Positive Comments: This very original song put a big smile on my face. It’s not often that you hear a fun motivational song in this genre. Starts out with a creative percussion/harmonica intro that captivated me instantly. Lyrics were a delight to listen to because they were so fresh, original and witty. There’s a ton of great wisdom in this song and it’s presented so perfectly…along with a repetitive, singable chorus. Favorite lyrics: Fail to plan plan to fail. Defrost your Brain. Good luck Fairy. Mix really worked for me in my headphones.

Constructive Comments: Sounds more like folk/blues to me. Work on matching up your vocals on the bridge. Listen for a bass note that might be out of tune slightly. Work on the abrupt ending. If you want to make the song more “commercial” shorten it by eliminating some of the harmonica instrumentals. All that being said, you can just keep it the way it is, but I’m trying to be honest and constructive. I definitely want to hear more of your songs! Mrs. Kate

Constructive Comments: One thing comes to mind as a suggestion….some prominent backup vocals in the mix for the chorus/hook for emphasis. That’s really a subjective.

Positive Comments: It took all of one line to know this is my favorite Broadjam artist, Earl C. Webb. He knows what he’s doing as a songwriter, a singer, a musician and a producer. The closest thing to him in the commercial music world straight up is Michael McDonald. Thanks Earl!

Constructive Comments: I can’t improve what Earl does. Great stuff.

Positive Comments: I love this reminder of that soulful Philly sound of the seventies, kind of like Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes in style. This makes you wanna slow dance with your baby. It has a Sunday-go-to-meeting purity thanks to a tasteful arrangement including strings. The vocals are perfect! Thanks for making this worthwhile!

Constructive Comments: I’ve got nothing in the way of suggestions except to keep doing what you’re doing already!

Positive Comments: I love the vibe of the song! I love the whole overall movement of the song and the positivity he putting out there. A-1 my good dude. A nice mellow Gospel rap groove. That’s a dope song for real! The arrangement and the key changes were very nice. Ill production. That should be added to the official BBQ playlist right next to Maze and Jill Scott! Real talk.Keep that good stuff coming!

Constructive Comments: I gave a couple of medium scores just due to the repetitiveness of the hook and the rhyme scheme. I get it though. I understand why it went like that. It’s a vibe and I feel it! It just got a little repetitive. I would’ve brought the key change in a little sooner and possibly shortened the song a bit, but it’s fresh overall!
