Positive Comments: Sweet soul music. I’m into the lyrics and the arrangement.

Constructive Comments: This is a sniglet from someone who’s made the same mistake myself, but the recording mix sounded a little over-processed and brittle for my taste. There’s no warmth in the eq. There’s a subliminal bump in the 2-5K range that is slightly harsh.

Positive Comments: This has a nice feel and flow. Easy to listen to. I struggled somewhat with calling this a “Country-General” category song, but then again maybe tweak the beat a tad and you’re there…MY Opinion.

Constructive Comments: The Song title/Hook was tough to really feel. I kept waiting for one to POP UP but slowly it crept in (if that was it). Make it PROMINENT, pronounced, Easy to find and learn. Chorus Your 1st 3 lines are ALL THE SAME musically. Flip ONE of those to a different progression, OR it’s just one too many. Overall it was a good tune. Polish it and your style and you’re there.

Positive Comments: Reminiscent of Hee-Haw from days gone by. Minnie Pearl would be proud.I can see this as a “Children’s Sing-A-Long song”, maybe a daytime matinee show. None of these comments meant as derogatory or really negative. Quite the opposite. There’s a niche for you…your style, content, instrumentation and voice are a perfect fit.

Constructive Comments: I had a bit of confusion as to which category to put this song in. Folk for sure but then it’s pure “Bluegrass” ‘old Country’, finally sending it to Folk. Country boys and girls sometimes swap back and forth with regards to which which station to listen to. No criticizing here. It’s definitely catchy, smile at yourself music for sure. Nice Job!

Positive Comments: Excellent sound on the guitars and the song was a fun listen from start to finish. Very nice lead vocal and the instrumentation was solid from the get go. Most of what I’m reviewing as “Hard Rock” is just someone overdriving a guitar badly, so this was a welcome change.

Constructive Comments: This would have gotten a MUCH higher rating from me, except that the drums were recorded so “hot” that they distort (cymbals too) through much of the song. As a drummer for 20+ years I’m super-critical, but it kind of made the entire song sound distorted. For this to get any licensing opportunities it needs to be 10X cleaner, so I’d recommend either re-mixing or even re-recording the drums if possible. It’s too good a sound to muddy up!

Positive Comments: Very nice sound reminiscent of Toto. Excellent lead vocal and the mix and balance are really strong overall. Even though a bit wordy the message requires it, and I enjoyed this song from start to finish. I also liked the smooth fade at the end – it amazes me that some people can’t get that right. Well done!

Constructive Comments: If I could change 1 thing in the mix, the backing male and female vocal between 3:45-4:00 are panned left/right a bit too much which makes them jump out. This is likely just a headphones thing and not noticeable through speakers, but I always wear studio-quality headphones to review. Otherwise EXCELLENT throughout.

Constructive Comments: i feel like the instrumentation could use some tweaking as far as the overall “tightness of the played parts and i think that given a bigger budget, the sound quality could be improved as well- Best wishes !!!

Positive Comments: i enjoyed pretty much all aspects of this track! The lead vocals are strong as is the instrumentation and production- Keep up the great work!!!

Constructive Comments: My one very small criticism (if i had one) would be that the production could possibly be “modernized” by using some different instrumentation and maybe less or different reverb on the vocals, but the track still represents itself just fine the way it is!!!
