Song: TRAIN ON THE TRACK
Reviewer: Stanford
Positive Comments: Nice fun feel, lyrics for the verses are great in particular.Nice raw, loose and live feel to it.Nice harmonica, always invokes the feel of a train. There’s almost a bit of skiffle going on, single string bass? are we on the Rock Island line?
Constructive Comments: I like the lyrics in the verses but for me then the chorus is weak, needs a theme to tie it together.I like the harmonica, that’s always good.Although as I say I quite like the loose, raw feel it’s a bit too loose and raw for me.The production isn’t great to my ears, there’s timing issues to me and instruments are a bit loose and dirty. It’s probably a bit long too. I mean it’s got some great ideas and a fun feel but needs polishing for me.
