Positive Comments: Good country rock song..well done.

Constructive Comments: Singer seems to be trying to sound more country than his normal voice..a lot of singers want to put a little Hank in their voice..result? They all sound the same.good singing voice..but get people to copy your style and not copy everyone else.weve heard them..now sing it your way..you have the voice.

Positive Comments: I liked this song. Over all a great song

Constructive Comments: The use of a choriser seems to be the in thing with the music today…but my opinion is that it detracts the vocal quality of a really good singer. I think I’d rather have live background singers instead

Positive Comments: A great song, with intelligent and meaningful lyrics. The performance is emotional and intense throughout. There are carefully thought-out harmonic twists and turns which keep the listener engaged. I like the ending on the relative minor for example, reflecting the sadness and anxiety of the lyrics. There is some lovely guitar work both in the rhythm and lead sections, and it all blends together well. The backing vocals add warmth and sweetness from verse two onwards, and the bass and drums are supportive when they enter, helping the song to build before the guitar solo. The guitar sound in the solo is rich and warm and provides a good contrast, whilst remaining in character.

Constructive Comments: My only suggestion is that the main vocal could perhaps sit slightly higher in the mix… only a nudge… and maybe its EQ be altered slightly so the excellent lyrics can be heard even more clearly. I think the modal chords and melody sections add a real grit to the feel, and reflect the industrial and country nature of the music. This is heartfelt, sincere, musically intelligent and most enjoyable. Thanks a lot!

Positive Comments: The vocals are great with a real engagement, and lots of personality. There is a lot of variety in the vocal delivery, which adds interest and contrast. The diction is very clear. The lyrics are interesting and amusing, with an unusual take on the seasonal theme. The sleigh bells add character. The chorus melody is catchy and lifts the energy level from the verse. The harmonic structure is simple but effective, and suits the mood of the lyrics exactly.

Constructive Comments: I think the arrangement could benefit from a little more clarity at times, maybe with some more movement in the accompaniment parts… maybe there could be some more instrumental riffs interspersed with the pads, in the gaps between vocal phrases, just to add a little more interest (there are a couple near the end, which I like)I think the vocal could do with sitting a little lower in the overall mix or else being blended in a bit more with the backing’s reverb. It just sounds a little too exposed at times, especially in the intro to the chorus, where the level is higher than in the verse.Nevertheless, this is a great song, I enjoyed listening to it, and wish the artist every success. They know how to construct a well rounded and attractive pop song, with humour and personality.

Positive Comments: Instrumentation is great..loved the piano part..simple and sweet. Overall song is good..nice melody.

Constructive Comments: Zinger sounded like he was off key and lagging the music at times. At one point near the end of the song it sounded like he was straining to hit the note..a little flat…practice and re record the vocals.

Positive Comments: Strong southern rock seventies vibe. This could have been an early Skynrd tune.

Constructive Comments: The vocal track was fighting to be heard, much less understood, and I have decent speakers. I’d revisit that mix, maybe compress and raise the vocal, especially on key lines.
