Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Broadjam Artist: Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods
Song: My Spanish Friend / Latin Jazz

Reviewer: Bill Dake

Positive Comments: Liked the Latin feel and especially the bass lines and tone. You kept the instrumentation simple and each part could be heard.

Constructive Comments: You might want to double the lead and bring out the melody more. For the most part it sounded like a backing track to a vocal or instrumental. Not a bad thing, if that’s what you’re aiming at, but otherwise the melody could be more prominent.

Positive Comments: love it, great playing, love the intro, and the guitar coming in kinda surprised me. It has a bluesy feeling, sounds a little like steely dan, which is no small feat.

Constructive Comments: sounds like it might need to be mastered, a little compression would make it all tighter and take the digital edge off.

Reviewer: Barry Osbourn

Positive Comments: fun song, love the main sound , and the melody

Constructive Comments: I think the drums need to be louder or add a bass sound or something, theres no low end, when the song comes in , in full its lacking low end punch. and it does get a little redundant, might think about adding another part to it.
