Positive Comments: The song is a bit slow out of the gate – but when it starts picking up it grows… dig when it is ‘all in’…the gars etc… brings it to a new level of energy and then it rocks! Recording seemed a bit weak in the beginning, but as I mentioned it comes alive…

Constructive Comments: Possibly a new re-mix to really bring it out… intro more dynamic so it gets it on sooner…. has nice instrumentation and energy… tweak the hi-end on the lyrics to bring out a bit more clarity in lyrics… it rocks!

Positive Comments: This writer is a good storyteller. Takes you right into the barroom scene and you can picture it all as he belts out his fun/funny ballad.(Did I mention my jeans were new? Ha ha!) This is sure to be a hit with the crowd at the bar and get people up dancing or listening and smiling.

Constructive Comments: Ease out ending – should be an easy fix. How about a little more country sounding instrumentation – fiddle? Mandolin? Really it’s okay the way it is…just saying.At first I thought you were singing The life of a country boy (2nd line of chorus) is like a truck. Then I figured out you were saying like a drug. (highs and the lows). That’s pretty creative…but is everyone going to get it? You make it sound like the life of a country boy is all about the girls and the beers. Maybe you could go a little deeper next time. There’s got to be more to life than that. (spoken by one who quit drinking a long time ago and gave her life to Jesus)

Positive Comments: This is folk music at its best! It tells a great story, from childhood to adulthood in under 4 minutes. Bravo! Lyrics are clever, original, and right on track with the melody and memorable chorus/hook. Bluegrass band instrumentation is tight and fun to hear. This is a polished song – let it shine!

Constructive Comments: I noticed a couple of places where the background vocals could have been matched up a little more accurately. It’s a woman singing a song about a man…which is somewhat problematic. If this is Susan Nikos, I’m sending you a high five, girl, you rock! Mrs. Kate

Positive Comments: O Wow, what a lovely song! I’m wasn’t a jazz fan until now. If all jazz sounded this sweet, I would be a jazz fan. This is tropical ambience love song at its very best. With Latin hand percussion, convincing tenor vocals, stellar background vocals and great instrumentation, this song is five stars all around. The chorus/hook is so memorable. I love the way you croon and end up with that fantastic chorus. I can imagine you singing this on a cruise ship…
