Positive Comments: Great vocal choice for the score, clean but with a little grit on the edge of it. The piano wasn’t overly complicated, but It fit well with the song. Good use of interval matching between the vocals and piano. Nice jump in intervals as well with the vocals.

Constructive Comments: Would have loved to more low end, whether that had been done with a bass or just adding another voice with the piano, I feel it would tighten the song up even more than it already is, tight. The piano melody was great but I felt at times it could have embellished a bit more. Overall, I like it a lot and I would even love this as just instrumental.

Positive Comments: Good use of step wise motion with the piano and good use of contrasting themes between the instruments. I liked the idea of back and forth, or call and response between the two main instruments.

Constructive Comments: Very good but I think the dynamics are a bit off and I was having trouble figuring out which instrument had the melody. If that was intended then it worked well but if not then maybe raising the levels for the piano might help. I couldn’t really hear a hook all the time.

Positive Comments: Amazing orchestration! Love the song, for some reason it makes me think of “Zanarkand” from a video game series. It has that feeling of longing and it builds up well into each section. Good use of the melody to drive the song forward and good use of the bass line to keep that drive in place.

Constructive Comments: Honestly, there isn’t too much or anything I would change for this arrangement, well done and excited to hear more from you.

Positive Comments: An amazing job! Loved the use of orchestration in the lower end while the piano held the melody at the top end. The melody was catchy and memorable. Nothing felt out of place, a slow start but it worked out really well with the tension that was built up. Could see this playing low in a nice drama series on tv.

Constructive Comments: I would have loved some more timpani to be honest, but only in very small tasteful amounts. The use of cymbals, what might have been hand cymbals was a good idea! I think maybe you could add a xylophone or maybe even a marimba, just doubling some parts of the melody or even just playing the roots for the slower parts of the piece. Very good job! I’d love to hear more.

Positive Comments: Has a very good groove to it, a kind of mix between rock and reggae rhythms. Clearly a group of very talented musicians. The solo was tasty and I liked the jumped around between different shapes instead of the normal pentatonic runs that are common in this genre.

Constructive Comments: The vocals are very good, but the levels are a bit off to me. They could be boosted a bit in certain parts. Either that or they just are not clear enough. This would be great live, but for a recording I prefer clear and clean vocals. It also could just be the effect that’s being used during the recording. Overall I’d love to hear more from this band or artist.

Positive Comments: I like the idea and the transitions between song parts. Simple and clean yet has enough of a hook to keep you interested. The vocals are interesting, kind of a mix between Ozzy and Lower range Dio, solid run through and would love to hear more.

Constructive Comments: The only things I might change, is to add a solo section for guitar or maybe even a fat bass line to spice things up. The bass or low end was almost non existent, and for me that makes a huge difference in overall sound. Vocally it was hooky and I could get into this live.
