Positive Comments: Subject was great & original. Loved the drums & brass. Sounded like Lee Greenwood.

Constructive Comments: Date might be better for 1862 or 1882 when most people think of tar & feathers & shackles. I know they still did it in 1892, but most people don’t.

Song: atmospheric

Positive Comments: This song lends itself to cinema. It seems to tell a story even without words. The instrumentation was a very nice combination. Nothing was lacking in this piece. Best of luck in getting it into a movie (a western I would assume).

Constructive Comments: When the distortion begins, it seems as though it got loud enough for clipping to begin to occur.

Positive Comments: Generally a professional sound. Guitar work good. Even though I could not tell what was being sung, the voice seemed pleasant. I’ll bet it’s a good voice.

Constructive Comments: Perhaps it is my system, but I could not discern a single phrase. It therefore did not keep my attention. Only every now and then did a few words come in clear. Toward the end, I was able to hear “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” That phrase is not original though.

Song: Been So Lonely (Radio Edit)

Positive Comments: A really effective intro. The vocalist sells the song brilliantly and has a superb voice. Good use of backing vocals and improvs too. The lyrics are simple and straightforward but very effective. Very nicely arranged. The sound quality is top notch. The chorus is really catchy. I’d love to hear this song on a night out in a bar or club.

Constructive Comments: In terms of arrangement I wonder whether the minimal section that starts at 1.57 is just a bit too long before the vocal returns. Just a thought. Overall a very strong piece of work.

Positive Comments: Very effective intro, which sets the scene. Lovely laid back, dreamy feel. Loved the introduction of sax at 0.58, in fact I particularly like those sax lines. Great drum fills. Nice chord progression. Well recorded. The sound quality is great. I can imagine myself listening to this in the car on sunny day.

Constructive Comments: It might be worth considering a version with vocals, of course with the right singer something on the lines of Michael Franks’ work. In conclusion a very enjoyable piece of work.

Song: IF I DIDN’T HAVE YOU!

Reviewer: Always Music

Positive Comments: This for some reason makes me think of Disney music, Hades from the original Hercules is one of the voices that comes to mind off the top of my head. I love the originality, this is more jazz than classical but it’s great. The drums are simple yet fulfilling. Also Oogie Boogie from Nightmare before Christmas, that singing style is very fitting.

Constructive Comments: Maybe a little bit more singing? I like it how it is to be honest, I could easily see this in an animated film.
