Song: Don’t Break On Me

Positive Comments: I seriously felt like this was an Old Smokey Robinson tune that Smokey may have let go for someone else to record and it just so happened that Rod Stewarts brother picked it up to take a stab it. Definitely has that classic ambience of Motown, with a touch of a blusey crossover. I wouldn’t mind takin a jab at recording / covering it too!
Constructive Comments: I don’t think this section is meant for negativity, but constructive criticism …so with that, my contribution to that would be maybe some additional ears on the over all mix. I like the instrumentation and arrangement, the only detraction I could notice is the balance of levels from different instruments to vocal. The blending just didn’t seem as polished as it could be. Not horrible at all, but room to polish. Even with the vocal slightly wavering at times and not being needle point accurate in pitch in spots, I liked it that way. Adds character that a lot of modern songs these days are missing. Thanks for sharing!!!
