Positive Comments: Guitar lick is catchy, drums fit in with the guitar part, overall song has a lot of potential. Song could go in a lot of different directions such as pop punk, but it’s probably best fit for a British pop Oasis type sound. The guitar lick reminded me a little bit of here comes the sun by the Beatles.
Constructive Comments: There needs to be a clear verse, hook, and bridge. I think making a bridge will probably be pretty easy for you with this song so the only thing is the hook/chorus. You also need to decide on what direction you want to go for the vocals. Whatever you do—I’d listen to a lot of bands in whatever genre it is for a few days before you write the vocals to get into the vibe. In my opinion, this sounds like a beach boys, oasis, or early Beatles type jam but I could also see pop punk with a little heavier guitar.
