Positive Comments: I liked the singer’s voice, and the guitar work was good as well. Good recording. I feel the sentiment of the lyrics and can empathize with the attitude.

Constructive Comments: First, the writer needs to arrange the lyric sheet as follows:1st VerseChorus2nd VerseChorus3rd VerseOtherwise, it’s a little hard to follow. We don’t need to see the chord changes, either. I think there needs to be a lot more work done to the lyrics in particular they need to have a fresher focus. One of these Nights is the title of the Eagles hits. That’s a lot to overcome, and just adding L.A. isn’t going to do it. Finally, the chorus should be the same throughout the song for it to be commercial.

Positive Comments: The song was well recorded and produced. I think the writer shows promise as a lyricist. The song has a laid-back feel to it which seems appropriate to the lyrics.

Constructive Comments: I found the music to be lacking somewhat, not really memorable. Also, the structure of the chorus is a little unusual in that the lines preceding the chorus are where the title appears. This is rectified somewhat in the last chorus I think the chorus needs to be re-structured. And even though the guitar work was good, I think it’d be better to find a distinctive instrumental ‘hook’ – something that the listener will connect with the song every time it’s played on the radio.

Positive Comments: Very sweet sentiment, done very well. I liked the voice, the instruments, and I particularly liked the recording – excellent job! This is an ‘advice’ song, and it seems to me there’s room for this type of song.

Constructive Comments: One of the problems I had was with the lyrics, and specifically the title. I really don’t know what the title is. Generally, I think of a title as the point where the singer goes, “and I say this to say… All You Need is Love,” or “Sing us song, I’m the Piano Man.” The title shouldn’t be hidden it should be obvious. Otherwise, it makes it hard for listeners to find it.
