Positive Comments: I liked the originality of the song but I believe you placed it in the wrong genre. The sound was of quality but the arrangement of the lyrics were a little off. The build up to the hook was good but I wanted to feel the emphasis of how you felt more. Overall it was a unique song so I believe that was the correct genre.
Constructive Comments: Where to start. I honestly stopped playing it halfway through the first hook. I thought the lyrics were too generic and lacked a lot of substance making me feel that this wasn’t written from the heart. I really can’t say much more than that because that really threw my whole vibe off. The music had me until you started singing. Not saying you can’t sing I just think you should be more creative with the wording and make it sound more personal.

Song: The Winter

Positive Comments: Sounds like a song I’ve hears before. Cannot quite place the instrumental to where I have but that threw it off for me. The style I believe was not something you can place in a pop genre as that is more folk sounding to me. I would’ve considered it an alternative new age folk song if I had to place it in any genre.
Constructive Comments: I think the mix could’ve been better. There are a lot of elements that were left out that I can hear as a composer. There was not a lot of build up to the hook and the hook itself didn’t capture my attention. I believe the song had a sad feel so it needed to be indicated as that when stating the feeling or mood.

Positive Comments: This is a well-executed Americana style song about lust & heartbreak. Great story. Good narrative. Instrumentation, singing, tempo serve the song’s story quite well. This is not my ultimate fave thing, so it makes my comments more valuable to this artist because, nonetheless, it was executed beautifully and sung with heart.
Constructive Comments: I would have had the band come in from the beginning and establish the groove on the first beat, but that is a subjective comment, for sure.Good job overall.

Positive Comments: loping beat is cool.
Constructive Comments: You need to tighten up time. There are moments where the band doesn’t sound like they are playing together. A better recording and a better mix would be a good idea.

Positive Comments: I just like the song and the singing and the track. I make similar style of music, what I call mid-volume American Rock, and I am pretty sure that our appeal is limited and that this kind of music (like mine) is a dying art form, but I love this style.I would like to hear more by this band. I really dug the way they put their tracks together and I liked the sound of the vocals. The words are cooly grown up. Hey, sorry, but I have actually played this track a few times. Much better than everything else I have reviewed.
Constructive Comments: Nope. Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t listen to people who tell you to change it. I mean to state the obvious, this is rock’n’roll guitar music in a massively pop world, but I want to hear more and that is the point of a good song, right?bonus points for not being overlong.
