Positive Comments: Now this is almost too perfect. The quality of this piece almost blew me away after I hit play. Where do I start? The instrument has such a resonating and full sound, it doesn’t sound empty or fake. The writing is so heartwarming and I can really feel the emotions you poured out into the composition. It could really be used in any number of loving, emotional scenes. Overall, this is perfect, and I will be saving this one!

Constructive Comments: There’s nothing I could add, really. This is such a high quality piece.

Positive Comments: Drama at its best. I could certainly hear this being used in any number of dramatic TV series or even a film scene. The modern style really makes it believable that there is a dark force at work and the good guys are really struggling against this force. You’ve really pulled off an authentically cinematic piece here. I really want to hear more now!

Constructive Comments: Can’t add anything to this, really.

Positive Comments: Now this is an interesting piece. I didn’t know what was going to happen from the beginning, but then the song really took off with the main melody and the dramatic percussion. I always appreciate good use of the brass — which is featured so well here in this track. The song is well written, and it certainly gives me a dramatic feeling which I’m sure is what you were going for.

Constructive Comments: Everything is well balanced, overall a great piece. Not much more I can add there!

Positive Comments: Now this is an excellent piece! The bagpipes at the beginning hit every right note for me which had me hooked straight from the start (which is a good thing). The song is quite the romantic piece in my opinion, and each instrument is used very well. I loved the guitar — so sweet and heartwarming. I truly enjoyed listening to this.

Constructive Comments: Not much I can add to greatness.

Positive Comments: This started as a nice ditty, but then the other strings came in at 0:24 and the song gave me a whole different set of feelings. I love this style of classical music, and the regal sound gave me feelings of adventure. With that said, I could see this being used in an adventurous scene. It is such a well written piece, and I loved how you started off small and then ended big. Very enjoyable!

Constructive Comments: What could I add to this? It such a fine piece.

Positive Comments: Very interesting piece which tends to fluctuate, sounding bouncy and happy. I can picture a hot air balloon floating above the landscape and trying to soar above the clouds. Again, interesting writing and I enjoyed the direction you took with this. It always amazes me how vast the piano’s options are — you can pretty much perform anything.

Constructive Comments: I can’t really think of anything to add to this song.

Positive Comments: This one has a dramatic feeling to it, and I can picture a classic scene of emotional and personal distress between characters. The choice of instruments work pretty well for the sound that you’re going for. The song takes an interesting turn at around 2:00 which has a lighter feeling, but then we go back to drama soon after. Overall, I like the direction you went with this and I hope to hear more from you soon!

Constructive Comments: Nothing much to add.

Positive Comments: I love the strings and the composition you created for them. It’s so refreshing for me to hear such authentic and classical writing. You certainly know what you are doing with this style, and I am very impressed! The accents are exquisitely performed, and I couldn’t ask for better sounding instrumentation. I hope to hear more like this from you!

Constructive Comments: It begins and ends a bit abruptly, but it’s not that big of a deal for me.

Song: Minuet In C

Positive Comments: I absolutely loved the complexity involved in the writing — I know it’s not easy to write music like this, but you pulled it off very well. Of course I always tend to associate the harpsichord with scenes of baroque sophistication, or perhaps a dinner scene with a bunch of 18th century nobles. I really enjoyed listening to this short piece.

Constructive Comments: The instrument itself could use a little more reverb to help it resonate more, and more dynamics in the notes played would help it sound more believable. But, as it stands you’ve accomplished what you set out to do I think.
