Positive Comments: Dug the vibe a lot. Song had good chords, solos, and lyrical content. I could picture this one getting reproduced into a monster. As it is now? It is in demo form… But I can hear the potential here.

Constructive Comments: Engineering is all out. I’m hearing noise floors. Vocals could be cleaner as well. All of your instruments could be fluffed and highlighted better. Get some compression and expansion on your guitars, bring them up and slap a stereo imager on acoustic. Get that kick polished to match your snare. Globalise effectsthat way everything down to the reverb is uniform. After you bounce the mix? Take a look at the stereo master and see if you can’t master it up a little.

Positive Comments: A good jam that offers simplicity and a consistent theme while pushing forward. The acoustic electric combo is fun and at times santana-ish. Lots of fun.

Constructive Comments: Got a lot of noise floor in this that could be removed. Balance between live and artificial instrumentation could also be made to sound more from the same world. Otherwise… This is just a jam. let the drum machine roll and lay down some licks. It lacks a polished arrangement and tends to loop regardless of the solo work that deviates a bit.

Positive Comments: It’s a Jesus song. If you like Jesus you’ll love this song. If you’re not a fan? You still might like this song… The performances are solid enough to be appreciated, I enjoyed the flutters for the second chorus as well, interesting arrangement choice. Good addition. It’s soft and steady… Ideal for a religious documentary or a film that involves religious people in the character line up.

Constructive Comments: Your instrumentation set is through and through country. I’d recommend changing genres to folk or country. Your arrangement feels rushed. Always singing. Take a moment to feel the music and allow it to breathe in its own section. Develop an instrumental bridge. Take a moment to breathe between transitions. Perhaps consider moving away from the four chord formula and developing some changes as you progress through the song. People tend to get bored if you do the same chords and melodies over and over again. Your enemy here is repetition. Also… As much as I love the good lord… I fear the lyrical content here might not gravitate to all listeners. Not telling you to stop… Just suggesting if you can find a new way to say the same thing? You might be able to sneak a heathen or two into your fan base. (Smiles warmly.)

Positive Comments: I dig it daddy-o. Could certainly find a home in a multitude of projects, films, or even video games alike. Solid performances, solid engineering even though you’re not really doing any now tricks here. When it comes to Jazz… It’s all about the flow and the collaboration between elements. You’ve done well to capture the expected vibe here… Good work.

Constructive Comments: It’s Jazz… What do you want? I could sit here and tell you to tighten up sections and performances… but this is fine as is. I think some of the performances get muddied up toward the end… but other than that? It’s usable.

Positive Comments: This really takes me back to 80s rock ballads. Poisen and Motley Crew when they let their hair down you know? You got some great vocal presence. Even though the mixing could be fluffed, its a very clear recording and all of the content is fairly well presented. Good work. I’d be curious to hear this in a more aggressive format surely, but feel that this is a great ballad as is.

Constructive Comments: I’d like to hear this with a bigger arrangement, more sections, more stuff going on. Back up vocals against the main vocals would go far to help drive the chorus home as well. Bigger section for soloing would be cool. Perhaps even amp that solo a little bit too… Tough guys need to cry every now and then too. A nice electric solo really sells that. Ultimately it works as is… Engineering could help modernize your sound though. Might be worth the time. Hope it’s useful.

Positive Comments: This would work well for a level in an RPG. Roll playing game. I can already picture it working in a level with a military parade or something. It doesn’t do anything particular in expanding on its rooted genre and approach to the patriotic theme… But it does perfectly serve its purpose. Not everything needs to be Mozart. This would be one of those things.

Constructive Comments: You’re effectively designing “the basics” here. I could give you a bunch of feedback on how you could change your chords, bridge sections in new ways, work in more modern cinematic effects, or even expand on the solo a bit… But then it would no longer be the basics. It can find a home as is… You won’t be winning any awards for originality though. My advice? Pick out your favourite soundtrack and then practice by replicating it perfectly. It’s the best teacher of how to improve your craft without taking classes in theory, production, and sound design. Hope its useful.

Positive Comments: Good Guitar Hook, sticks in your mind! Great beat, super playing on the musician’s part!! It sounds like it could play in a Video Game, Dragons & scary creatures….yikes!! I’m frightened already and I haven’t even seen the video!! Although the tune is 5:34 seconds long, the composition doesn’t feel like it!! The musical parts keep changing and the energy continues…….SUPER JOB!!

Constructive Comments: Don’t have any real issues, maybe record the song with more advanced recording gear…..still sounds good though!!!!
