Positive Comments: I like how this told a complete story. Poor John! LOL The track matched perfectly. It gave off a carnival-like sound which usually equals fun. It sounds like you had fun with this one and that’s what counts!

Constructive Comments: The only thing I could see adding would be something funny for the intro so that it doesn’t sound like empty for too long at the beginning. You want to keep them interested. You don’t want a long intro because you tend to lose interest after just a few seconds. If I’m not mistaken the beat changed twice before the verse came in so adding something there might help with that.

Positive Comments: This reminds me of some of the groups back in the 80’s. Believe it or not I have seen more opportunities for this old school style than current sounding tracks. Putting vocals to this type of track just might land you licensing.

Constructive Comments: Sounds a bit old school (sort of dated) but then again a lot of opportunities look for this type of track.

Positive Comments: The track was decent. Sounded more like a cross between Funk & Jazz. Usually there’s not a whole lot going on lyrically when you have that type of mesh which fit perfectly for this type of track.

Constructive Comments: Vocals could have been a little more clearer. Wasn’t very much change between the verse and chorus

Positive Comments: Freaky electronic music at its best. Unsettling, way out there crazy and not the kind of music to play at bedtime. I like the way the silence punctuates the piece in and out. You never know what to expect next. Ending is a cool surprise. Anti-climactic!

Constructive Comments: This is not my genre, so sorry if my evaluation is way off. I don’t know how you guys come up with this stuff. Now I might need to drink a soothing cup of herbal tea just to get over this, ha ha.

Positive Comments: Wow, this song almost made me cry. This songwriter is an excellent storyteller! What a poignant, touching portrayal of his mother’s life and passing. The Bridge of Roses is the setting. I love the way he brought in dad’s proposal, his baptism, dad’s funeral. The whole story fits together like closely-placed wooden boards on a well-crafted bridge. And the writer made me feel like I was standing there. Five stars! This is one of the best, most touching ballads I’ve ever heard on Broadjam. Favorite rhyme: bloom, perfume.

Constructive Comments: There are a couple of pitchy issues, but it almost adds to the poignancy and makes you sound human and emotional. I would definitely love to hear more of your work!

Positive Comments: Here’s a sincerely sung LOVE WON BACK song. You have to be happy for the songwriter as he sings about his love returning. There’s some nice country sound in the instrumentation. Nice use of weather metaphor in the lyric writing.

Constructive Comments: The song dives right in with no introduction. Please include a bar or two to get the listener ready for the song. I don’t think verse one helps the song at all. The first thing we hear is something about being out of tune and sour notes. That is not a great way to win over your listener and it doesn’t seem congruent with the rest of your lyrics. Stick with the weather theme/metaphor. That is the best part of the song. I would not recommend singing your own harmonies on this song. In my opinion, it doesn’t really work or add to the impact of the song. Work on originality in your lyric writing.

Positive Comments: I’m a big fan of the message this song portrays. It sounds like something you could possibly hear on a commercial. I chose the World genre as Folk was not an option. To me it sounded more Folk than Pop but it had undertones of World music too. All in all great job!

Constructive Comments: Keep up the good work. I could hear you heart and sincerity in this song. Those are characteristics that you hardly find in today’s music. I am a emotional writer myself and I think writing from the heart will always keep your music/lyrics fresh and original.

Positive Comments: Nice rock instrumental. Opens with a cool vibe/groove. Lead guitarist has a lot of fun letting ‘er rip. Nice listen, well done!

Constructive Comments: Vary the background groove a bit. Guitar sounded a bit “thin” in the mix to me. Maybe beef up the sound a bit. I’m not an expert. There were a few moments I would describe as shrill.
