Positive Comments: Here’s a sincerely sung LOVE WON BACK song. You have to be happy for the songwriter as he sings about his love returning. There’s some nice country sound in the instrumentation. Nice use of weather metaphor in the lyric writing.
Constructive Comments: The song dives right in with no introduction. Please include a bar or two to get the listener ready for the song. I don’t think verse one helps the song at all. The first thing we hear is something about being out of tune and sour notes. That is not a great way to win over your listener and it doesn’t seem congruent with the rest of your lyrics. Stick with the weather theme/metaphor. That is the best part of the song. I would not recommend singing your own harmonies on this song. In my opinion, it doesn’t really work or add to the impact of the song. Work on originality in your lyric writing.
