Positive Comments: This is a great recording. There is a nice use of the stereo image. It is encouraging to hear instruments placed left and right in the stereo field. The lyric content implies the desire to take time away from the burdens and pressures of daily life. I like the reference to “Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption” with the utilization of the geographic reference of Zihuatanejo.
Constructive Comments: This is a top-notch work. The recording is excellent with a very convincing use of the stereo image field. I like hearing instruments placed either right or left. Many artists fail to use this basic concept. The song has a valid construct and very convincing lyrics. The backing vocals lay perfectly within the mix.
