Positive Comments: I love the guitar tones on this song they’re really dreamy. In fact the guitar is outstanding. Lovely bass tone too. The drum track works well. The melody particularly on the verses is lovely. Nice chord progression. Shades of Jefferson Airplane.
Constructive Comments: Lyrically I’ve marked the song down, not because I dislike the sentiment, but because I feel that the rhyme scheme revolves too much around the word ‘you’. Mixing up the rhyme pattern a bit with half rhymes and mid sentence rhymes would give the lyrics a freer ambience and would sound more natural. I think the choruses need to stand out more. You could make them more distinctive by upping the instrumentation and perhaps adding some backing vocals. I hope these comments aren’t too critical, because there are some strong elements in this song.
