Positive Comments: Very nice traditional folk song. Good vox and harmonies. If this is your preferred style of song writing you succeeded! This tune could easily work for many scenes in TV/Movies. Keep up the good work.

Constructive Comments: There isn’t too much I can say constructively. The mix worked well for this style of music, nice and even sounding.

Positive Comments: Nice boogie Woogie. Nice playing, love the live musicians! Big plus. Cool concept… bro this is more blues than rock. Good recording for live, I can tell this was a professional session in a nice studio, thank you for that and the live musicians. I really loved the lyric concept, something we musicians can really relate to.

Constructive Comments: Somewhat a rip off of “I know a little” think it was Lynard Skynyrd or Almond Brothers… with the rimshot drum part of La Grange. Lacked some originality in my eyes for those reasons. Some groove issues around 1:30 to 2:00. Nice refrain with the background vocals.

Positive Comments: Nice intro, surprised when the song came in double time. Quality parts and performance. The chorus rocks, fantastic vocal harmonies. Enjoyed the break down at the beginning of the second verse. Beautiful composing guitars. Mix is good. Song is reminiscent of queensryche. I like the keyboard counterpoint in the pre-chorus. Good use of effects in the transitional sections. Good bridge, works very well with the song.

Constructive Comments: The intro did not match the rest of the song. Maybe too much low end in the mix, loses a little definition in the kick and bass… kick should be a little more present so adding some high end or a different mixing (or preset) with more attack so it will cut through the guitars and bass. The fade out didn’t do anything to help the song, took away from the mostly professional production in the first 4:20 of the song. Too fast and too abrupt on the fade, makes it sound like there was something after that you didn’t want the listener to hear…. smoother fade, slightly slower is better. Vocal is up and down, loses the lead position slightly in the second verse, then back on top into the pre chorus then again in the second chorus the vocal is not quite loud enough. Bad edit on the vocal after the bridge… when the music goes out the vocal punch should have been dusted down in level. Lead vocal is very inconsistent in volume. My only problem here is little production issues. I think that is the only thing hold this song back from greatness. The tune is hot, the performances are super hot, just recording issues hold this back.

Positive Comments: Very ZZ Top, sharp dressed man, cheap sunglasses. Good blend of instruments in the mix. Quality guitar playing. Drums and bass are perfect in their performance. I enjoyed the halftime bridge. Some quality ideas in this song. Good hook, no doubt what the name of the song is or what you are singing about.

Constructive Comments: Songs which sound too much like famous artist are kind of a turn off. Try to use bands for inspiration unfortunately musically this sounds like a rip-off. I really think you could have found a way to make this song less ZZ Top sounding and more original.

Positive Comments: Nice voice, kinda’ sultry and sweaty. Decent guitar part, works with this arrangement. A generally nice redo of a classic show tune.

Constructive Comments: For some reason only the right channel played through my speakers, you might need to check this out. Without hearing a complete stereo mix my comments may be lacking. A more realistic string sound might enhance this arrangement. Keep on recording!

Positive Comments: Reminiscent of Flock of Seagulls and Duran Duran. Delay effect on the guitar creates a cool vibe.

Constructive Comments: Lots of distortion right off the bat… in the drums and maybe bass too. Be mindful of your gain structure when recording your instruments. Seems like some levels were too loud causing everything to compete with each other.

Positive Comments: This is a fun song with a very “live” feel to it. This kinda’ reminds me of a Leon Redbone type song, like guys sitting around just making up a funny little ditty!

Constructive Comments: While I enjoyed this tune I wonder if the general public would enjoy it, not that it’s necessary for the public to appreciate every piece of music that you or I might write and record. I’m guessing that many folks would find the “looseness” of the vocal pitch and harmonies a bit too loose, if you get my drift. I might clear up the piano part so that it sits better in the mix. Keep on truckin’!

Positive Comments: Reminiscent of Eric Clapton right from the beginning.. slight George Harrison vibe as well. Song takes a country turn in the chorus. Good vocal. Very nice mix, vocals out front, good compression. Enjoying the organ and acoustic guitar. Electric guitar fills are perfect. Very inspirational lyrics which is good to hear these days. Cool effects on the keys in the second verse. Great accompaniment all around.

Constructive Comments: Definitely a double chorus in the end, one more time around with more guitar fills and vocal scats was needed here. Defending guitar line is a little too much like “while my guitar gently weeps”. That’s all I have. Very accomplished song writing, recording and performance skills. Best of luck with this fantastic music.

Positive Comments: Nicely produced and arranged track – like the 80s Country feel that you’ve brought to this track. You have an obvious structure which is good with a recognised verse/chorus/bridge

Constructive Comments: Some work needs to be done to the vocals – not quite sure if the melody/vocals fit the track… apart from that, nice work!

Positive Comments: I like the jazz-blues feel that you’ve brought to this track. Nice use of unusual instruments.

Constructive Comments: I wouldn’t really call this electronic dance and I actually found it difficult to categorize. There is no real hook to the track as you do not have a discernible structure – verse/chorus/bridge, etc, although I can detect variations in your track. Even instrumentals need a structure of some kind.
