Positive Comments: Nice clean recording. I love your raspy voice, kinda’ reminds me of Miss Blues. Good tight rhythm section. Good instrument placement in the stereo field.

Constructive Comments: Not much to say as your recording is so good! The only suggestion I have would be to turn up the “Hammond”, it’s often “lost” in the mix. But if you did that on purpose you have succeeded in a swell recording!

Constructive Comments: You did such a nice job with this tune that there isn’t much for me to say. About the only suggestions that I have are 1) you might want to turn up your instruments when they are soloing or turn down the strummed acoustic gtr. and 2) maybe spread out some of your instruments in the stereo field. You’ve done that with some instruments, maybe some more.

Constructive Comments: I’m not real sure why you would do this, it’s a great and classic tune. If you want to do a version of it, and who doesn’t, do a real version of it and actually play the song. If you just need 30 seconds of background jazz then I’d suggest doing something other than a direct lift of a well known tune, or change it enough so that is not recognizable. Maybe take the original chords and totally reinvent the melody.

Positive Comments: This is a decent song that many folks would enjoy! Nice ska feel, good stereo placement, nice standard mix. The paying/editing is good, keep up the good work!

Constructive Comments: I think your basic mix is spot on for this song. The only suggestion I have is the vocal level. I admit I prefer songs with lyrics that are more upfront than not. I would think that a little more volume for your lead vox be a teeny bit louder and you might lower the reverb some during the verse. These are minor complaints, but you might have mixed it so that you enjoy it if so then just enjoy it!

Positive Comments: I liked the lyrics as I also write some comedy tunes. The intro reminded me of “Ode To Billie Joe” and the groove was nice and mellow. Space is the place! I could understand the lyrics which is a good thing!

Constructive Comments: I don’t know if it my internet connection but most all of the instruments are mostly panned right. I would spread out your sound field if you mixed it this way. The only thing that bugged me is because of a vocal bias that I have: I have never been a fan of what I call the “warble vibrato”. That said, most people like it so that’s your decision.

Positive Comments: Nice country lyrics, nice authentic country voice. This is a good, basic song that would work in many scenarios. I like the vocal mix as it stands out and a person can understand the lyrics which are a decent story for this genre.

Constructive Comments: Not much to say. Good mix, etc. I don’t know what the solo instrument is, (synth harmonica, pedal steel with distortion?), but while I enjoyed it, there may be folks who don’t.
