Song: Rockin Your Six / Hard Rock

Positive Comments: I think this has potential. It needs to be professionally produced but there is a song in this. There is a nice melody that can be found with a singer. I feel the guitarists passion!

Constructive Comments: Find a singer and change up the drum beat a bit. Looking forward to hearing more.

Reviewer: HarryBudini

Positive Comments: Well done, Donnie.

Constructive Comments: The note at, for example, 4:12 doesn’t particularly convinces me, not with those strings, which are not the best. And I know about strings not being the best. I use only the worst.

Positive Comments: A very rich, nice piano arpeggio piece. It reminds me of a person on a long journey.

Constructive Comments: The strings are way overpowered by the piano. Maybe tone down the piano, and bring out the strings a little, and pan them where one is a little to one side from the other.

Song: How They Have Grown shorter orchestra version

Reviewer: John Hazlett

Positive Comments: Quiet and pondering in the beginning, energized in the end.

Constructive Comments: Try using the different modes in this to mix things up, such as the mixolydian mode. Or maybe throw in a few more 7ths and 9ths.

Song: Dimensions (Last Day of Love, First Day Of War))

Reviewer: John Hazlett

Positive Comments: The somber beginning reminds me a little of “Schindler’s List”, but it breaks out into a more positive piece, with a nice crescendo near the end.

Constructive Comments: Panning could be done a little better. Separate the instruments better, some on the left, and some on the right.

Song: My Birthday (RBT)

Reviewer: Jeff Maguire

Positive Comments: Moody midnight music , solid performances , smokey vocals, what more could you ask. Happy birthday.

Constructive Comments: Singer has a pleasing voice, there are a few minor pitch issues but nothing that could not be addressed, the overall quality of delivery is good and does actually make me want to wish her … happy birthday. The lyrics are generic double entendre so it will all be in the delivery. Piano is nice but sounds a little bit more digital than I’d be really happy with. With the right production it good get some action.

Broadjam Artist: Janet Murphy
Song: Out of Step

Reviewer: Jeff Maguire

Positive Comments: Very moody bluesy tune with shades of Janis and Big Brother, nice playing overall, very tasty guitar playing.

Constructive Comments: Constructive criticism would be that reverb sounds to heavy, overall effects could be reduced IMO, including doubles on voice. Guitar intro is very nice, phrasing and note choice are dead on, maybe just a little less effect. Vocalist has a good voice, but the doubles are more distracting than anything else, in a song like this I’d personally like to hear the vocals more out front and really belted. There is no middle ground in the blues , you are either seriously fucked up, or really ecstatically happy, let us know which it is.
