Positive Comments: Excellent cover of Gershwin classic, vocals are absolutely super.

Constructive Comments: I’m not sure I get the reason for a synth solo, or any synth at all, it sounds like a mini Moog stuck in the middle of a very authentic jazz combo sound for no musical reason, same with the sax bits. Stylistically they make sense but the part just isn’t doing much. Why not get rid of the synth and just use the sax, the tone is kind of thin, but not awful. Oh, and the singer is great, it’s all about her voice and delivery, so without anything other than a trio, you would be fine … IMO. Piano trio and vocalist is the norm, the other stuff is not really necessary unless maybe providing something exceptional, and it really isn’t.
