Positive Comments: This is just an exciting and great track. Vocals are on point, music is very interesting, the lyrics are original and all the dynamics and elements are on point. Really think this singer has phenominal talent. Love the slow breakdown! Production is great! Look forward to hearing more from you guys!

Constructive Comments: I am a guitar solo lover so not having one is my only critique if you will but I know that is a taste thing. Great job guys!

Positive Comments: For this genre, great representation. Pop punk feel to the song which I could imagine playing on the radio in the late 90’s early 2000’s. I like the tempo shifts. Guitar playing great. Voice fits song very well. Good energy to the song throughout.

Constructive Comments: Play a bit more with backing vocals and bring out a bit more the backing vocals already present. It’s a production thing, but sonically, the sound could be made punchier and shinier. But overall, great job.

Positive Comments: Has the punk attitude. Has the punk vibe. It’s complaining and whining. So it’s punk. Love the unique voice. Great contrast of voice with the topic of song and style of music. I could imagine being in a small club here in downtown Vancouver (BC) in the mid 80’s at a punk show and seeing this band.

Constructive Comments: I couldn’t make out the word ‘Direct’ until I looked at the lyrics. For a song like this (this genre and style), it should not go over 3:30 at the most. I would get in and get out quicker. Over 4 mins made it start sounding repetitive.

Song: Continental Baby Blues

Reviewer: Jeff Maguire

Positive Comments: Interesting concept , difficult subject to turn into a song, would possibly work in a real beatnik type coffeehouse setting or as backdrop in a film if used in small snippets.

Constructive Comments: Without some development musically it really doesn’t need to be over four minutes. Not bad, kind of a one trick pony though. And frankly I really don’t see repeating the same two or three lines in a neo beat rant which seems to challenge the utility of abortion getting much interest outside the most abstracted circles.
