Positive Comments: You have a pretty good voice, sounds like theres some potential here and your recording quality isn’t too bad BUT

Constructive Comments: But theres a few issues, Your rhythm needs a high hat or ride symbol or shaker, its missing the constant, its just a bass and snare the whole time and never really changes, You really have to do some more work on your rhythm track. and your bass line needs walks, its only hitting the root notes there should be bridge notes between the chords,, Just those two things would make this whole song really come alive. and feel more complete. and create some dynamics in your arrangement, instruments up and down in volume. things that come in and out of the song.

Constructive Comments: some of the tones are a little digital for me but I think I’ve said that before, Your singing is great but if I were to be a perfectionist, theres a few sets where they’re a little hesitant or the timing is off just a hair. and the enthusiasm is good at the begging and end but wanes a little in the middle.

Positive Comments: Moody late night grooving music, nice chord progressions, definite mood established.

Constructive Comments: To be honest , musically the whole thing has a kind of cut and paste quality to it, especially the sax part, as though it is mostly done with loops of some kind. It’s not bad, it just to my ear does not generate any heat or gain any real emotive value. The drum beat never really changes, or has any dynamic. You’ve got this late night mood music that probably should be about desperate lovers shooting up in ally’s or cheating on their spouses juxtaposed with children playing in the sand. I don’t get any identifiable dynamic other than ” you can get what you want “.

Constructive Comments: I found the vocal could be a bit more in the front. Perhaps eq’ing would make it more clear. Sounds like a nice tone of voice but it needs to be a bit more “in your face” for my taste.

Constructive Comments: I would have brought the vocals in the chorus up front a bit more. The song calls for “in your face” to me. You may not agree.
