Positive Comments: Having studies many of the great jazz masters throughout history, dealt with so masterfully in the Ken Burns Jazz series, and being a lifelong lover of jazz, i can appreciate the at odds contention of the percussion and melodic paths which spar together here, majestically, creating something powerful, unique and original. Positive Comments: Its very difficult to define the genre of this song as, imho, its not quite completely or accurately “World” music, yet it does contain elements of same, but it also contains elements of jazz, pop and blues. Perhaps its the great gravelly vocals that fuse these seemingly disparate genres together. You’ve woven together something wonderfully unique here and I love it . Great job!

Constructive Comments: well . I think your lead line, melody, would have been better if you just used horns rather than the synth sound, and it gets a little static after while , kinda monotonous, needs some changes in the arrangement.

Constructive Comments: The only thing I would say is theres a few spots where the vocal timing is off just a bit and I would bring the volume of the chorus up in the mix, its a little buried in the instruments.

Positive Comments: Well I like the melody a lot and the guitar riffs are great, good playing, reminds me of RL Burnside, or ZZ Top

Constructive Comments: The drum machine is a little static and stiff, why not just use a Garageband drummer it would sound a lot more realistic. But even with a drum machine, you need to change the dynamics some and you can maybe get away with it, turn some things on and off and switch the beat up just a little so it isn’t exactly the same the whole time, even just a drop out would be cool, have the drums just go off at the end of the chorus on the end of the turn around so its just Bass and guitar, for one measure, then when they come back ion it sounds really cool, strong.
