Positive Comments: I must say that I think I became BroadJam Friends with this songwriter. He played this song for me after reviewing another song of his! Great Pop Reggae Song! All of it…the arrangement, instrumentation, quality of Lyrics and song message is this song, Excellent! You get caught up as he describes of the ways of her stormy nature. Great story in a great song! Keep up the good works!

Positive Comments: Cool tune with that Disney Little Mermaid flare! Great mix, instrumentation and arrangement going on here! Good steel drum sounds to add that Caribbean flavor and some great guitar licks!The song reminds me a bit of Jimmy Buffett! The vocals are mixed well in this song.

Constructive Comments: The only thing I noticed was that song stared out with hints of H. Belafonte’s ” Day-O”, but you played it out nicely with more of the J. Buffett flavors, so I was good with that!

Positive Comments: Great song here! The instrumentation is excellent! Great mixture of synth activity going on because the overall musical arrangement is excellent as well! Action and movement when the drums come in and gets the song moving and grooving! Yeah, I would like write tunes like this one! Keep up the excellence and I hope to see you at the top!

Constructive Comments: I cannot even bring myself to even consider suggesting any improvements to this song. I’m glad to get to listen to great music in these song reviews, yet the true challenge is to come up with enough feedback in this section to achieve five stars! Positive Comments: Nice conscious rap tune! Great instrumentation from the get-go, a solid bumpin’ beat with that bass! I like how the vocal arrangements and effects on the vocals rides on the groove and that catchy hook! Great conscious lyrics that come from the heart and feeds your ears!

Constructive Comments: There’s not much I could find that would be an improvement on this song, my friend. You have lots to say and you have done that very well on this song! Your song has a great beat that’s easy to dance to and I enjoy the message! B# and you will C! See you at the top!

Positive Comments: Firstly this a beautiful song. The vocalist is outstanding. Lyrically the message is simple but very effective. Very nice structure and chord progression. Just the right length for a song of this type. Slightly retro in feel but in a timeless way.

Constructive Comments: I would have given this song fours and fives for all categories but for the acoustic guitar which is too bassy and sounds as if was recorded with the level set too high. It’s a shame because otherwise it’s beautiful.

Positive Comments: Somebody’s havin’ fun just jammin’ with guitar and mandolin. This is fun and pleasant to listen to. Very nice playing and keeps to the rhythm consistently. Nice ending!

Constructive Comments: Is there a vocal version? It would be fun to jam with you at a festival! 4:04 is kind of long, but I enjoyed every minute.

Positive Comments: This is a well built rap tune! Great acoustic guitars, percussions and stuff in the intro! The hook comes in nicely and gets the sone on its way. A nasty beat and it’s sweet enough for mainstream! Great instrumentation and vocal arrangement on the lyrics about a fine woman without explicitly is done very well!

Constructive Comments: Well, I’m not Dr. Dre so there’s not much I can say that would be an improvement for this tune. You know how to do Rap better than I fo’ sure, son! Keep busting’ out these songs and get yours! I look forward to hearing some more songs on BroadJam and everywhere else! See you at the top! One last thing, B# and you will C!

Positive Comments: This is one of the most beautiful father to son love songs that I have ever heard. The honesty of the performance, the choice of words and metaphor blend to make this one of those memorable songs. Hear it once and you’ll never forget it. It’s so AUTHENTIC! Favorite lyric “righteous/rebellious” – fantastic. Also love: fireflies in a jar/shining star. Great dads love their sons through it all and this song communicates that so poignantly. Every word is crystal clear – great performance. I really love the vocal delivery – this guy has a great voice! There is a tenderness infused with power. The love really comes through.

Constructive Comments: Guitar is pretty, but not perfect. There’s a bit of tinniness to it that might be fixed by different miking, or the touch of a good producer to give it a little more depth. Home/roam is a nice rhyme but somewhat over-used. Another way to improve this song would be to have a definable/memorable chorus. Intro is too long. Work on the ending. Take some of that beautiful guitar playing in the front end and create a lovely ending to make the song go out more gracefully. I definitely want to hear more from this artist!

Positive Comments: I love that little acoustic guitar riff in the intro. The singer is ideal for the song…he sells the song really well. Nice use of minimal backing vocals. Sparse but effective instrumentation that works really well. The lyric idea is simple but to the point which is very effective. Well recorded.

Constructive Comments: This is not a genre I listen to very often, (we Brits don’t get to hear much Country music), but this was a very strong song in my view and worth pitching for Country music listings.

Positive Comments: I love that dramatic intro. The keyboard themes that enter at 0.58 and 1.14 are very strong. Great musicianship all round. The rhythm section is superb..love that bass work. Excellent sound quality. Well mixed and mastered. Great dynamism to the song.

Constructive Comments: I marked down the hook and originality because elements of the tune were too close to ‘Eye Of the Tiger’. Otherwise it was very strong.
