Positive Comments: I like the storyline – trucking, highways, old guitars … Generally a strong song with an interesting vocal! I do like the personality of the song, the story, the general idea. I can see a whole bunch of people dancing in a club to this, and having a ball. The song has a great subtle build (hey hey hey hey!)

Constructive Comments: The song has a fun feel. The guitar work would possibly benefit from a tiny bit of blending in production in some parts, where it distracts just a bit from the vocal line.I’m reminded of Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen. With that in mind, a boogie-woogie piano (ala Marcia Ball) would be a fine layer to add to this mix. Something needs to be “swung” into place, a rhythmic support element. A similar tightening could possibly be achieved by more strongly emphasizing the basic drum line in post production. Make it punchier. Decent hook, which you could repeat even more. At the very end I hear there is a club-style piano in the mix. Get that to come up top more the ivory is lost! 🙂 This song has market potential in a somewhat focused market.
