Positive Comments: This is quite a pleasant song when we finally got into it. A nice lyrical idea and hook. It really has more of a “country feel” rather than a traditional folk genre. That may have been due to the background music which seems not to be far enough in the background. The vocal work is very nice and while that volume was not too low it still seems to be battling for attention with the synth strings(?). I believe there is lovely guitar work in this tune but it is hard to hear behind what sounds like midi instruments.

Constructive Comments: I feel the INTRO is much too long, I found myself becoming impatient around the 17 second mark and yet it want on beyond 30 seconds. It might have been more enjoyable if the guitar came in a bit higher. While the instrumentation is pleasant I think it would be a better FIT if it sat a bit farther back in the mix, allowing the guitar and vocals to take center stage.

Positive Comments: The song has a good message everyone should hear. I enjoyed the harmony and it was good! I liked that it is uptempo. It got me to get into the message. The song is Memorable. It is provocative! It makes you think about your personal relationship with God. The guitar fill, intro and tag is a good addition to the song.

Constructive Comments: The melody is too predictable. Try to come up with a melody that is unique. The lyrics suggest that good works will get you to heaven. Covey instead it is our faith that will save us. Most hit songs have bookend choruses. They start and end with the hook line. Instead of telling what you need to do, try to show by painting a picture. Create a scene just like in the movies.

Positive Comments: This is a really nice, uplifting tune. Very happy ‘feel’ foot tapping song. I did enjoy the vocal performance and equally the instrumentation. Nicely done. The opening sound of the fiddl (did I hear banjo?) caught me off guard because I was expecting something else having read the genre as Traditioal folk. This tune, for me, has more of a Blue Grass feel to it – though certainly nothing to take away from the artist as BroadJam doesn’t seem to offer that option in the genres listed!Anyway, a very nice tune that I would gladly listen to again. Uplifting and spirited, the lyrics very much “folksy” in a positive way.

Constructive Comments: As I said, I think this is a very good song, nicely done, the mix of vocal and instruments seem right-on, and so I can’t hear anything that I would change. I would be happy to recommend this to friends, and can hear this tune blasting overhead at a county picnic or county fair.

Positive Comments: Nice music, moody, not flashy but played well, good balance in the mix for the most part. Might be nice to add another section in a major key just for contrast.

Constructive Comments: I don’t think this fits the Delta blues category, more like Rock blues, or even Jazz bluesy. I think the drums could be either mixed down a little, or placed back a bit with some processing/reverb.

Positive Comments: Interesting sound on the lead guitar. Good balance between the instruments in the mix. I could hear this underneath a travel promotion, a “gotta get away” to a sunny beach.

Constructive Comments: I think the instruments could use a little more processing. The music is already a little slick sounding, which is part of its appeal. But a few more processing tricks applied to the instruments could make it even more slick sounding, all to good effect.
