Positive Comments: This was a pretty good jam, nice flow and energy, the instruments all seem to be working well together as a cohesive whole

Constructive Comments: The guitar is too loud in the mix and is peaking throughout the whole recording. Its especially bad when you do the two guitar screeches in the beginning of the track. Not sure they were even needed. I didn’t feel like they added anything to this track and I think I would have cut them in final editing.

Positive Comments: I liked the individual parts of this song, but I did not feel like they made for a cohesive whole. I did like that you did what you did and didn’t decide to repeat a minute of music 2 or 3 times just to have a longer runtime.

Constructive Comments: I liked the guitar, but did not feel like it had any relationship to what was going on in the background. Likewise I liked the background but didn’t feel like it had any relationship to what was going on with the guitar. The ending had no relationship to either aspects of your song, and to make it worse it got cut off short when you edited the recording. So while I liked the parts, I did not like the whole.

Song: Shut Yer Yap (Instrumental)

Reviewer: Dave Haddad (CenterPeace)

Positive Comments: Guitars in your face mix… sounds good. Nice full arrangement… all the elements are there. Good groove and melodies. Support from the organ is nice. Some good catchy guitar riffs and tone for days! Nice solo and tone at 2:20.

Constructive Comments: Guitars are overpowering the mix. The lead guitar can be heard well enough you can turn it down a good 6db. There are little inconsistencies like the bass dropping out at times. Everything live except drums… just missed for my ears. Live drums would add that missing element. Felt the song was a little repetitive, around 2 minutes I needed a new sound or instrument to give the guitar a break. Mix was too guitar heavy, rhythm section needs to be felt and heard more for me to tap my foot.
