Positive Comments: This is definitely hip hop style and it has a street vibe a real hip hop vibe. I here a long verse with no chorus. Like he was free styling that verse. There’s nothing wrong with free styling a verse but I think I think the artist should be more creative in the structure of the song by doing the free style verse on a scratch track. Then go over it on another track to build the song and its meanning. And add a hook on it expressing what it is said on the verses.

Constructive Comments: The overall mix is good and the arrangement is ok I think it needs a hook. The Lyrics are good also in sound and tone. It’s hard to here what’s the topic without structure and a hook.

Send It In Down / Hip Hop Dance by Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods

Broadjam Artist: Uncle Spider & The Electric Dirt Clods
Song: Send It In Down / Hip Hop Dance

Reviewer: Mayito

Positive Comments: I liked the guitar solo on the break I say this is a hip hop / jazz or contemporary hip hop song, it can be placed in a TV show or film. The instrumentation was good and simple the melody is very catchy. Ican here there is live instruments in there and that’s a plus for me. You don’t here real live instruments in hip hop much.

Constructive Comments: I think the mix overall is good and balanced. I think the artist should of bounce the guitar solo on the break from left to right, I think that would of gave that solo a nice texture. The arrangement is nice, well arranged. I couldn’t think of a name for it, maybe if it had lyrics it would of been easier to think of one.
