Positive Comments: I enjoyed this piece. I feel it as backdrop to a walk outdoors in brisk evening air, possibly with snow around… that is what this evokes for me.The beginning is very well thought out. I love the piano beginning.I like that the ‘cello was featured as the melodic lead. The trading of parts of the motif between the ‘cello and the higher stinged instrument (violin, viola?) is quite lovely. Very well written.

Constructive Comments: The mix could use a bit more brightness. Needs some mastering dips. It’s a tough proposition with a rich palette such as is presented in this song, when you try to put it all together for the small speakers we tend to listen with today. (I’m using AudioTechnica headphones through my computer)The cello could use a bigger pocket in which to sit in the mix…The piano performance could be more nuanced, and it would add TREMENDOUSLY to this piece. The ‘cello has that nuanced performance…This piece seems a nice potential background for a beautiful video shot in the snow, in a forest somewhere… I would love to see that. Thank you!
