Song: I’m Tired KILLER NEW SAX
Reviewer: Sixty Miles Down
Positive Comments: Lots of cool stuff going on in this song. Nice melody and harmonies. I’m really digging the sax. The percussion is cool and the guitar strumming those 16th notes really keeps the song moving. The bass guitar supports the song well. I really like the feel good vibe this song has.
Constructive Comments: I Think you should back way off the reverb. The vocals are drowning in it. The mix overall is very thin and distant(the reverb). I think the drums are too low in the mix. Bring them up a bit. I think just backing off the reverb in general will bring this song to the next level. Good job. Best of luck!

Positive Comments: What a cool song. I’ll tell you right now I’m not going to have anything constructive to say about this one. The lyrics are awesome. The mix and musicianship are excellant. The hook is there, the arrangement is perfect. Not necessarily the genre I usually listen to but a good song is a good song and this one is a damn good one. Great job!
Constructive Comments: I’m listening to this song for the fifth time. I really want to find something constructive to say because I know thats what I really look forward to when people review my stuff. I’m sitting here shaking my head. This song is done and ready to make money. It probably is already. I got nothing. Great job!!!!

Song: The Kingdom

Positive Comments: Cool song. It has a John Lennon meets U2 kind of a vibe for me. The piano is very melodic and the bass has a good amount of punch. The vocal melody is catchy and the chorus is simple but memorable. Great job on that. I know I’m going to have this song stuck in my head tomorrow.
Constructive Comments: I really like this song. Here’s my constructive comments. First off the song starts very abruptly. I think there should be some sort of into leading into the verse. I would back off of the vocal effects a bit. The singer has a good voice and I think the effect takes away from it a little bit. Are the drums looped? There’s no fills to take the verse into the chorus. The song needs more movement. I like the change at 2:16 but the drums don’t do anything to give the part a sense of change. I think the guitars should open up during that change and then drop back out going back into the next part. I really like the la la la la la la there is a place line. I really think you should have another vocal singing a higher harmony over the la la’s but not the rest of the line. I think it would make that more of a hook and stand out more. I really like this song and think it has a lot of potential. I hope my feedback is useful. Best of luck.

Song: Rooster
Reviewer: David James
Positive Comments: Nice short intro which grabs the listener immediately. The playing on the song is excellent and is executed with lots of swagger. I particularly like the guitar solos which have lots of impact. Nice guitar patch too. The instruments are nicely balanced and the sound quality is great. The vocalist really suits the song and delivers the song in a compelling way.
Constructive Comments: In terms of structure my brain was expecting some sort of musical change at 0.58, but a change didn’t come. I’ve marked down the originality of the song as the Rockabilly genre suggests a certain sound and chord progression and that does not imply a lack of quality in terms of the song. Overall though an entertaining song which is well played, sung and recorded.
