Positive Comments: Not sure if this is all real instruments and musicians – it sure sounds like it – it certainly sounds refreshingly real!!! Great balance between the instruments and that piano playing is tremendous. The chord progressions take it to another level. Nice break down with the Hammond sounding organ too. Then that guitar! Loved it.

Constructive Comments: Through headphones the bass is somewhat overpowering in the mix. Every now and then I wanted it to take off with more drive then come back down to a more laid back vibe. Other than that – nice work!

Positive Comments: Very interesting approach and arrangement which kept me listening. Some lovely unusual chords which are always a good thing in my book. Liked it when the drum track picked up towards the end.

Constructive Comments: The piano is very clinical and needs more of a human feel. I recently re-recorded one of my own jazz tunes in order to play and record the lead piano part without any quantizing and it gave a much more satisfying result. It meant recording it over and over and over again until I was happy with it but it was so worth it.

Positive Comments: I love the vocals, the guitars – pretty much everything about this. Reminds me a bit of Joan Armatrading and Tracy Chapman. Great vibe, great energy, even like the unconventional chord changes. Yeah – this is seriously good. Not overcomplicated but interesting lyrics – they just… work. Great stuff.

Constructive Comments: Would love to hear this with some gentle percussion/drums/bass after the first verse/chorus – would just round it out and let if fly even higher. Other than that, can’t think of a thing.
