Positive Comments: Swing on a star. Dreamers we are. These are great lyrics. Simple, memorable and they roll off the tongue so beautifully. This song has a nice, gentle vibe but also has a dynamism to it that sets it apart. Instrumentation is nicely done. Love the percussion/drums. Vocal is crystal clear. Great message, deep but simply presented. Great male/female harmony! Bravo!

Constructive Comments: star/are/guitars Loved the last word the best! Great job guys!

Positive Comments: This poignant ballad tells the story of a young woman’s fight against cancer. We all know women who have fought this battle, and this song describes the emotions so beautifully…it put a lump in my throat and reminded me of my friend Christina, who left 3 kids behind. The vocal is gentle and sweet the instrumentation understated, which is perfect because it doesn’t detract from the storytelling. Love the harmonies. Beautiful job all around. Thank you for writing, recording and sharing this important song.

Constructive Comments: The only thing that might improve this song is possibly – instead of doing self harmonies, ask a couple of other singers to join you. Possibly a male and a female voice. But really, it’s amazing just as it is. Did you write it about a particular friend, or was it a “general” made up story?

Positive Comments: Unsettling, dynamic and piercing, this tune definitely has a unique voice all its own. It soars, it screams the guitars, effects and harmonies are all well thought out and flawlessly produced. I like the way this piece builds and the way it ends is pretty cool too.

Constructive Comments: If this is another one of those “band in a box” computer creations, I’ll be hornswoggled. Sounds like a real band to me. Bring out the dancers.

BABY PLEASE by Derrick Procell

Positive Comments: Real solid blues and R&B track, well written and performed all around, great vocals and solid backup. Overall has an 80’s vibe, especially the guitar tone and middle section. Has a very familiar sound which right at the moment I can’t put my finger on, wait, ” I’m So Into You” by Atlanta Rhythm Section.

Constructive Comments: Only criticism’s are that it sounds a dated, and the lyrics while perfectly ok, are totally generic in the style and really don’t help you much. If this track had been released in 1973 with a slightly better lyric it could have been a hit.
