Positive Comments: The understated banjo gives this track a front porch feel along with the laid back, mellow vocal. The theme of being a better man is carried well from the first to the last verse. Vocal was clear and nicely sung. I really like the banjo accompaniment and the simplicity of the production ans recording.
Constructive Comments: I found this song to be fairly well written, but the language and connotations were rather offensive to me. I know everyone in this world is too easily offended. Please understand that I have nothing against you. I just found the p… and n… and a…. references personally distasteful. Nothing against you as a songwriter. Just a personal preference due to my beliefs.
