Broadjam Artist: Chet Nichols
Song: Waving Prairie (from “Live” CD, “Black & White)
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: Truly Americana, this live recording done in alternative tuning is a good showcase of an authentic artist who has found his audience. (That’s a really big audience clapping out there). I really enjoyed the guitar playing and the stream of consciousness writing. Probably disqualifies it from “commercial” but still cool to listen to. It’s a great road song.
Constructive Comments: I already know who this is, Chet, because you put your name in the lyrics, which we can read now, thanks to BJ. In a way, I like being able to read the lyrics. In a way, I don’t. Because if you cannot understand a song without actually reading the lyrics, I think something is wrong. Anyway, you know I am a fan of yours! Mrs. Kate
