Broadjam Artist: Chet Nichols
Song: Earth River (Instru-#1 New Age Alternative)
Reviewer: Nigel Barrett
Positive Comments: Dynamics in the tune work well – the sounds compliment each other well. I’m assuming it’s all real instruments apart from the synth pads? Really liked where the tune went to in the middle.
Constructive Comments: I guess this (thinking piano) was recorded live and thus every studio musician’s favourite friend – the quantize function – doesn’t apply. The playing needs to be tighter in this day and age given that digital pianos can now be super tight through a computer. That said I appreciate that this is perhaps more ‘real’ than other stuff on here including mine!
