Positive Comments: Rather a sad song about love lost or missing. It’s well-played and well sung. Makes me wonder about Beacon Street. Also I wonder what the French words mean. It’s definitely a song that makes you think!
Constructive Comments: On the second chorus you changed the words line 2 and 4 do not rhyme. I wonder if you would have been better off not changing the chorus around at all. I didn’t mind your changing refuge to comfort, though. The vocal is good, but needs a little more oomph, passion, something. I’d work on that. Ending was a bit “plain”. Maybe you could work on a better ending? I was looking for a bridge at the end of the instrumental.
