Positive Comments: I think this record has potential. Please see my constructive comments below.

Constructive Comments: Production is fire! Artist is fire! On the other hand, the mix and the sound is muddy. Also, the hook needs a simpler and less aggressive ride.I’m sort of mixed about the track as far as big sound and potential is concerned. Even if the hook stays, I would say take it to a professional engineer and let him/her maximize your sound. It may cost you no less than 600 but it’s worth it.

Constructive Comments: My only strike is the mix and the engineering. Don’t short cut yourself. Sacrifice and take it to an established engineer at least one time. I’m not talking about a place close to you with gear comparable to yours.I’m talking about a studio where the engineer has industry awards and credit. It might cost you no less than 600 to get a fire mix and master but it’s worth it. Otherwise, keep rocking and producing!

Song: Malibu Sunday-Short Intro (#1 Smooth Jazz)

Reviewer: Jeff Maguire

Positive Comments: Slow buildup into nice melody and chord changes, sort of get the sense of a slow building but certain change or realization. It has a modern pop/jazz feel more than classic jazz, if it were guitar I’d say it sounds similar in mood to some Pat Metheny /Gary Burton stuff, only without the instrumental virtuosity. It might get into a sound track as is.

Constructive Comments: Same as above, though I would not call it classic jazz, and unless it were programmed this long for some professional reason, like the outro of a film, or a muzak or meditation or exercise CD, it really doesn’t need to be this long.

Constructive Comments: I was thinking it’s more country than folk rock. I am kind of new to this Broadjam process. I kind of got the story but some of it was unclear. But I have the same issues with my writing.
