Positive Comments: Excellent sound and definitely marketable. Game soundtrack or film trailer application comes to mind immediately.Great cinematic feel with the big percussion hits and french horns in the melody. Also, there’s quite a bit of change-up of mood which I feel lends itself to AV applications.

Constructive Comments: Really not much negative to say about this track at all. The only thing I found a bit odd was that it started out as primarily electronic/ambient and seemed to switch up to unique/soundtrack, but that’s really not necessarily a bad thing.

Positive Comments: Cute song, voice and guitar, simple demo, but very clear and easy to understand. I liked the addition of the harmony, too. The lyrics are happy and clever, the song is well written, and I’ll bring you all my sewing!

Constructive Comments: Not sure of the commercial potential in its present form. It occurs to me now that with a more spruced up arrangement, this song could be a commercial for someone offering tailoring services.

Positive Comments: Overall, the instrumentation and playing on this song is very good. The balance between the voices and instruments was also good. The recording is clean, and you can easily understand the lyrics. Although, I picked the Folk genre, I think this song in more in the Americana genre.

Constructive Comments: I’m not sure of the commercial potential for this song. It has a moral that is true, but I’m not certain that makes for a great lyric. I thought the overall arrangement was good, and I was glad when the fiddle came it. But I think the fiddle could have come in a verse early a piano in the track would have been nice, too.

Positive Comments: Interesting choice of chords, particularly in-between the verses and chorus. Guitar work is very good, clean, tasteful, better than average. The song sounds like something John Denver might have sung. I like the harmonies in the chorus. I think the song has commercial potential. Please see my constructive comments.

Constructive Comments: I think the lyrics overall could be stronger. There’s not anything new here, even though the sentiment is sincere and sweet. There has to be something new in the lyrics for the song to have a real chance commercially, in my opinion. A technical note: I think the voices could be a little more up front in the mix – they’re a little buried with reverb right now.

Constructive Comments: Production is fire! Artist is fire! On the other hand, the mix and the sound is muddy. Also,the hook needs a simpler and less aggressive ride.I’m sort of mixed about the track as far as big sound and potential is concerned. Even if the hook stays, I would say take it to a professional engineer and let him/her maximize your sound. It may cost you no less than 600 but it’s worth it.
