Constructive Comments: It’s a pity that the vocal track is so loud making the power of the backing track disappear. It seems an old style approach to a demo. I’m sure that if you put the vocal track down in the mix and make the background denser it will shine!

Constructive Comments: The beat is very repetitive and lacking in dynamics. The entire piece is a horizontal arrangement which in my opinion would benefit from some vertical composition techniques. Silence is an incredible composition tool and I think it could help by inserting some moments of silence so the ears can reset and you can help grab the listener’s attention by focusing on adding more figures to the composition (right now the entire song is ground in need of strategically placed figures). Check out “figure-ground” perception and consider adding this technique to your music compositions.

Constructive Comments: This track sounds very improvisational and the drum beat is a bit of kilter in spots and not on the grid which was a bit jarring to me as a listener. The drum beat was a bit monotonous and in need of variation. The instrument selection sounds a bit dated and not very modern or interesting to listen to.
