Positive Comments: A balls to the walls early 80’s hard rock tune much like Twisted Sister, Sammy Hagar, or Rat with a big screamer vocalist and big guitars. There’s the simple social commentary that this type of tune often does. This would have been an easy hit in ’82!

Constructive Comments: Not sure a full 15 seconds of cash register is needed. The idea comes across within 3-4 seconds. Not sure why you’d do a tune like this now, but that’s your call!!

Positive Comments: Nice kinda’ pop song. though I don’t usually listen to pop this song was OK. I get bored listening to songs that are too repetitive, but I also know that is part of the aesthetic, so I think you succeeded.

Constructive Comments: I think you have a handle on this genre of music, keep writing!

Positive Comments: Good basic hook reminiscent of some early Beatles to my ear.

Constructive Comments: I might have mixed the bass a tad bit higher but overall the mix was OK. I like hearing the vocals up front like that.

Positive Comments: Really sweet guitar intro that sets the mood perfectly. The vocals come in strong and compelling–what a nice vocal timbre and you have the vocal well recorded and right where it needs to be in the mix. The second harmony parts that come in are good. The halting “won’t…you…stay” is very effective. The instrumental arrangement and performances are all very strong–they totally support the vocal and lyrics.

Constructive Comments: fix that flat note on “there’s a *chance* for us””our love can’t end this way” this is too cliche IMO And there’s a lot like it that’s the same, and you can predict what the next line is going to be. I really think you need to rework this so it’s not quite so cliche.The high synth part is a bit whiny.Nice work!!

Positive Comments: Really nice lead vocal, could appear in a Hall-Mark Sunday Night Movie, I can almost see the scene now…..The music has all the right traditional instruments, that make for a wonderful sounding country ballad, excellent job!! Look forward to hearing who this songwriter is and some other songs in this genre! Good composition……..

Constructive Comments: This song is pretty much Picture Postcard Perfect! I can hear George Strait singing this tune and winning on the CMA Awards……….Super Tune………..
