Positive Comments: From the very beginning, the songs feel really good. The arranging and orchestration are really interesting and modern with some classic Rimsky Korsakov intent. The choice of instruments and register is really well done. If the sounds were a bit more realistic that demo would be a lot stronger but as a way to show your composition is very good indeed.

Constructive Comments: The whole demo is a bit too fake for such a deep and heavy orchestration. Even a bit more reverb could do the trick. Especially the snare drum rolls are giving up the fake. Musically is all fine. Is the sound that needs improvement. It’s my humble opinion and it’s based on a first impression that I believe is the most important.

Positive Comments: From the very beginning, this song is highly promising. I like it a lot. The vocal entrance is so strong! The mood of the song is really wicked and the whole idea of this smokie arrangement create such a great set for the lyrics that make this song a real small masterpiece. Thank you for that. I’m sure this song will find a way to be heard!

Constructive Comments: The intro is somewhat weak considering what happens after that. If you decide from the very few early seconds you risk to loos the great song that comes after that. In my opinion ti the sequenced sound that should be a bit more organic and interesting. This is my only concern with this song. The sound is really good.

Positive Comments: Nice voice. The timber is interesting even if is a classic. Sounds really good for a song demo. The form structure is very good. The harmony vocals are very well chosen too. And the guitar solos are tasty and important for the mood of the song. I believe this song have some potential with a more modern arrangement.

Constructive Comments: From the intro, the song sounds a bit outdated and too familiar. I wished there was some sort of modern sound or hook to make it “third millennium”. It’s a drag since the song for me has potential and the lyric and vocal are really good. I my opinion a bit more work in creating a stronger demo may help to make the difference.

Positive Comments: Nice popping sounds. The keyboard hook is very good as the rest of keyboards. The form structure is well done. Also, the recording is quite good and well balanced. A lot of ideas for one song. The pulse is right and the feel is good. I only wish to hear more of the lead vocal. The drop is in the right place.

Constructive Comments: I wish there was a pro voice to bring this song to the next level. The singing is almost non-existent and this is a great sacrifice in my opinion. The arrangement is good for the genre and the development of the form is right. I wish there were more surprises to bring the attention forward. And the lyrics are a bit too weak, or maybe this is the effect of the weak singing.

The strong points are many, and I feel that there are a lot of ideas for just one song. Maybe the instrumentation is a bit too electronic but there is a nice development musically. I would like to hear a more definite version.

And there are some parts that I would like a bit richer in texture. Also, I was expecting a modulation somewhere in the second half of the song to keep the interest awake.
