Positive Comments: Catchy! Good vocal sound and the phrasing is hypnotic. You have a bit of the Adelle warmth and grit in some of the phrases. There’s potential for a very strong Pop tune here.

Constructive Comments: I don’t think the tempo change in the intro does anything for the song. I think you need more infill in the arrangement–probably keys/synth parts that give a 16th or 8th note bed for the rest of the parts to work against. The message of the lyrics doesn’t quite hit–maybe more actual story that informs what’s going on? I think this needs to be more R&B and less of a Post Punk rock vibe.

Positive Comments: It’s Chester!! And here he’s sounding a lot like Little Feat with a lazy groove or maybe Ry Cooder. I love this sort of melancholy groove and behind the beat riffing. Big vocal performance that sounds great, and the lyrics are compelling. Love the guitar fills too! Nice one Chet!!
