Song: One Day Off

Positive Comments: Cool intro that sounds like Steely Dan, Elliott Randall period. Nice urgent vocal. I like the way shuffle groove comes in late during the first verse. Love the guitar tone and bass/guitar riffing together. The keys and drums are working very well too. This is so Steely Dan, and that’s a good thing. Nice work!!
Constructive Comments: Not sure “I need one day off” is as compelling a hook as it should be. Mid song you’re starting to meander too much IMO, and it’s losing the punch. I think you need a hot solo and more of the clever arranging in the middle and maybe even move to cut time to pick up the interest level. This is really great work but I think the lyrics need a real tune up to get this where you want it.
