Positive Comments: I would classify this as a collection of various soundscapes rather than a song or music per se. The production was very good, the audio clear and powerful. I didn’t notice any obvious over-EQ’ing or over-compression. Some of the sounds were interesting and compelling, and it set a mood.
Constructive Comments: This seemed to me to be a bit disjointed…more like several bits of commercial loops and sound FX rather than music, and I think the lack of a unifying theme and lack of harmonic structure held this piece back from being more commercially viable.Even in ambient music there are recurring sounds which act as motifs, something that gives the piece a cohesive feel…possibly try to concentrate on a smaller number of sounds and FX with more of an overall structure to give the work a complete sound.
