Positive Comments: Lyrically and melodically, this is a very strong song. I’ve never heard a Christian song about this topic…ever. It hits on several scriptural concepts: Chasing after stuff that doesn’t matter and “The wind blows where it wishes.” Kind of cool to combine both those concepts successfully in one song. There’s an excellent electric guitar lead in there. I also like the reference “Ashes to ashes, dust to dust”, very well done.
Constructive Comments: Randal, this is your best yet! I was really impressed with it. I would SHORTEN the introduction. It’s too long. Keep working on eliminating the narrow, nasal tone in your voice, or get someone else to sing your demos. Weakest rhyme in the song: Wealth/meaningless. That one did not work for me. Keep up the good work, bro!
